9/18/2023: Team Help Needed
Subject: TEAM HELP NEEDED for September
Good morning! We NEED A LOT of help to make every sale run smoothly. If you’re able to grab even just one shift, or one more shift if you’re already working, please login to Homebase and grab a shift. If you know you can work but don’t have time this moment to get your password figured out, please reply with what you’re available and we’ll plug you in.
As a reminder, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A SELLER AT THE SALE TO WORK!~
If you can’t work the 12 hours to shop early, we would love to offer you the GOLD Seller Shopping pass, which will allow you to shop at 1:30pm on Tues., Sep 26th, as opposed to the 11:30am shop time if you’re able to work 12 hours.
Our needs are MOSTLY as follows:
Sunday – setup & check-in
Monday – valet check-in, final floor setup, clothing inspection
Wednesday – evening scanning and register
Thursday – afternoon and evening scanning
Saturday – scanning & register
If you worked last in-person sale, don’t miss this sale, even if you aren’t selling! The returning worker incentives apply to working the previous sale (helps with continuity) and you want to keep those incentives going!
If you’ve never worked scan station, we can train you!~ We have other needs such as door greeter, line control, etc. that are available as well.

9/14/2023: Valet Incentive & Reminders
Subject: TEAM Valet Appts & Incentives
There are plenty more shifts to grab in Homebase! You may grab as many shifts as you like. Those Team members who were provided limitations may now grab additional shifts. We NEED NEED NEED team members to help with scanning shifts and Monday night check-in to assist with clothing inspection.
Don’t forget to double check your hours against the worker incentives. You can find those here at September Event Employee Emails webpage then scroll down to the July 4th email to see how many hours you need to earn different incentives; the incentives increase with the more hours you work. (Incentives include earlier presale shopping, additional inventory, early 50% off shopping, additional % in sales, free valet check-in)
The payroll weeks for this sale are broken down into Sun-Wed and Thur-Sat as KidStuff Sale operates on a Thursday-Wednesday payroll schedule. Just so you are aware, you may be part of two pay periods.
For those workers who selected to work the required number of hours to receive the FREE valet check-in, per the incentives email, I have created the appointments. You must select this appointment type to receive the incentive. Here are a couple of notes on the incentive:
- You can drop your items off anytime Sunday evening or Monday before 5pm
- The appt can be found at 9/25 @ 11pm (don’t worry about the date/time)
- Follow the valet check-in instructions on the website
- Plan to drop your valet items off before/after your shift
- If you are not bringing your items during an actual valet check-in time, see a team member and we’ll direct you where to place your items.
- Large and infant equipment may need to be taken to the appropriate places if not arriving during valet drop-off due to limited space.
For other incentives, make sure you follow the instructions on how to receive them. These all need to be coordinated prior to the sale so the paperwork is ready. We want to make sure all the administrative work that needs to be done is completed so there is no delay in your incentives!
REMINDER: Plan to wear a black t-shirt or KidStuff Sale t-shirt during shifts. The black t-shirts look great against the colored aprons.
Team shop tickets will be sent via email once the schedule is finalized. Also, Team shop is for team only – you are welcome to bring your spouse, or a grandparent but NO other guests during team shop. This is a special time for our KidStuff Team. Refer to the July 4th Team email for shop time based on hours worked.

We will be conducting an employee Zoom meeting to go over changes and expectations. As we make minor tweaks, we don’t want to leave you out of the loop when sellers and shoppers come asking questions. These won’t take long, and we’ll make sure to keep them brief. Keep an eye out for meeting options as we plan to have a few to fit everyone’s schedule.
If you need to make adjustments to your schedule, send me a DM in HomeBase…DO NOT do the cover shift option. That gets squirrely because we get to a point where we print the schedule and blame you for not showing up. :oP

Good morning, everyone…and Happy “Almost” Labor Day! Wow…the summer FLEW by…
We hope everyone is settled back to school and things are going well for all of our families. Geesh… what a start for some!! As most of you know, we’re gearing up for our September event and wanted to get a head-count for those that will be working with us.
If you will be joining us, we need confirmation by logging into Homebase and grabbing at least one shift. We realize you may not know your full schedule for the end of September, but we need to know if you plan to work. This will help us understand gaps in our shifts and will want to fill these ASAP with new team members.
If you are unable to join us this event, no worries at all… we’ll keep you on the list for next season. REPLY TO THIS EMAIL AND WE WILL REMOVE YOU FOR THIS EVENT. Just an FYI…we also have events confirmed in Indiana (October – Live), and Louisville (November Virtual).

7/4/2023: Ambassador Cards
Hello again!
Two TEAM emails send on the 4th of July! Oh my!
Well June has flown by.. and here we are the heading into the 2nd week of July!
We fully recognize that your days are likely full running to practices, camps, pool parties and the like…which is why we’re reaching out to you to possibly help us continue to spread the word about KidStuff Sale and our upcoming events. We continue to serve so many families across Kentuckiana with each sale and we’re always searching for new ways to reach as many Moms and Dads as possible who may not be familiar with the services we provide.
We’ve ordered Ambassador Cards that resemble business cards with information about KidStuff, a QR code with our sale dates and a short blurb on what we do – and a place to add your name for referrals. We’d love to have as many of you carry a few with you as you attend your various activities and spread the word. We know some of you are extremely busy and may not be able to participate…and that’s OK! For those of you that may be interested, we’d love to hear from you at support@kidstuffsale.com or text 502-209-9899 with your full name and we’ll coordinate to get cards mailed to you.
We are also sharing this Team Only referral offer valid July 5 through September 14! Even if you are not able to work in September, as a past team member you are eligible.
All team members who refer NEW sellers will be put in a drawing (one entry per referral) for a $100 Amazon Gift Card – or KidStuff Kash (whichever preferred) one entry per referral.
If more than 80 new sellers are referred by the team between July 5 and September 14, we will add two additional $50 gift cards to the drawing.
The team member who refers the **MOST NEW sellers (minimum of 5) will also get a $100 Amazon gift card – or KidStuff Kash and HUGE bragging rights as the Master Ambassador!
*A NEW Seller must not have sold in the sale before and must bring 40+ items to seller check-in. You will be shocked how many families do NOT know about our events – just hand out the cards – you’ll see!! The new seller must list YOU as their referral source when registering.
In addition to using the ambassador cards – you can text or email or post share on social – neighborhood groups, etc. as long as the new seller lists your name you will receive the referral credit. Offer to help them get started as a thank you for listing you as the referral to the sale.
